I really hope Jimmy is more of an opener today. I don’t want to hand Cleveland a win
Who is Lambert starting in place of? Shouldn’t they be on regular rest?
I think Cease
Maybe Hahn needed to agree to start a AAAA pitcher once per Cleveland series to close the Hernandez trade.
Leury is just brutal
Decent as a bench player, awful as a regular.
Yup
With the addition of Hernandez, he isn’t a regular. He is getting a spot start
Reynaldo throws 97 mph again?
Baseball Savant has the last three pitches to Reyes at 97.6 mph, 98.2 mph, and 97.8 mph.
Well, the 3 Stooges (Timmy, Jose and Yoan) are 0-6 so far with 6 easy outs. Yoan doesn’t even walk anymore.
Tim it’s ok to work a count…You don’t need to make an out in the first two pitches.
Best case against the DH is that Quantrill would think twice before pitching inside if he had to face Lopez the next inning.
No he didn’t drive in a run on purpose, but c’mon man.
Yeah, it is pretty ridiculous to just keep saying ‘we didn’t intend to do it.’ If the pitchers don’t have the command, they have to pitch differently
Rey is legit!!!
Who had Lopez as cromulent reliever in White Sox lottery? Come on down and collect your winnings.
This is a crazy year.
He’s basically pitching a starter’s load per week since he came up, just a couple innings at a time. No idea if he can be a factor in the playoffs but if he keeps everyone else fresh then he’ll at least help us get there.
Moncada has just been awful lately
I love the Goodwin bat flip, tossed high towards Cleveland’s dugout.
I am thrilled the Sox didn’t waste the stellar pitching. Maybe relieved is a better word.
Now that was a good win!
