I am really hoping Lopez does well for the remaining year. As Jim said earlier, giving all the starters some rest in September might be the difference in October.

Head injuries can be very bloody and look worst than what it really is. I hope this one is one of those. Whe I was a kid, I cut myself in the forehead with barbedwire and I bled madly.
I think Bassitt got hit betwee his eye and ear. No much soft tissue there. He might have a fracture. I really hope his eye and ear are OK, and it is just a cut.
Yeah, I certainly hope it looked worse than it really was. Fegan tweeted that was 100mph off the bat. Can’t even imagine.
Just tuned in. To have this happen to anyone is absolutely tragic. But fact that it’s Bassit makes it 10x worse. Prayers up indeed !!

That was hard to watch. Prayers to him and his family. Every time I see something like this I wonder how long it will be before a helmet is required. I know at one time, some hockey goalies thought it was a bad idea.
