Kasper makes us all feel old with this nugget: No current major-leaguers were born when #WhiteSox manager Tony La Russa first managed the team in 1979.
I watched a little of the game. So many positives –
Moncada looking speedy and healthy
McClure looking legit. Really rooting for him.
Vaughn showing his mojo with walks
Burger sighting!! And looking svelte and nimble.
Engel homer.
This is possibly the most positive First Spring Training Game I’ve ever witnessed. And I was born before LaRussa managed his first ever game.
Avi looking svelte.
of all the bench players I’m most excited to see bat today — based on the lineup card — I want to see Shts & Adolf.
Nice to see the legs from Yoan
He just grounded out to second, and he flew down the line. It was nice to see.
I wasn’t born yet myself. I suspect neither Jim or Josh were alive as well.
Don’t gloat, it’s not becoming.
Off my lawn. Now.
I wouldn’t be born for another 16 years!
McClure looks interesting.
Had to catch up on DVR, but yeah, he could be something. I’ve been intrigued by his minor league numbers so far and liked how he looked today.
I’m very curious to see if his velocity gain is sustainable.
Im just happy to see Jake Burger playing baseball.
Who wrote the lineup card shown above? That’s not TLR’s handwriting is it?
I was thinking the same thing……printing straight out of the Enlightenment or something
I believe someone said that’s Cairo’s handwriting
Jerry Narron.
