One of the best things about Giolito’s start yesterday was that he seemed to be having a lot of fun out there. He looked very loose against a terrific lineup. He has the makeup of a true ace.
if pounding Red Bull makes you loose, he was very loose.
Maybe it was the gas station sexual enhancement pills that put the smile on his face.
Loved seeing Giolito shut them down. Great to see such hard work pay off. Hope he can keep it up.
On a side note, as an old timer, it’s hard to believe that only he and Beiber have three CG’s and that only 20 guys have CG’s this year. The game sure has changed.
Give Ricky credit for that. A lot of managers would not have let Giolito go out for the 9th with 100 pitches.
The Comeback Player of the Year thing is interesting. The award feels like it’s geared towards more established players, while Giolito wasn’t really ever established in the first place. They need a Most Improved Player award, though that seems almost condescending or Little League-y.
Suffice to say it’s just awesome that as fans we get to talk about this at all.
I never believed the extension for Renteria was for him to solely be manager. He will finish his contract in another position with clubÂ
