White Sox 4, Phillies 3 (15 innings): A recipe for success
The White Sox snapped a four-game losing streak, and all it took was a second crack at scoring on a center fielder throwing batting practice in the 15th inning, after their attempt to break the tie in the 14th was foiled by a pitcher playing a Gold Glove left field and a third baseman laying out to rob Carson Fulmer of his first career hit.
Said pitcher — Vince Velasquez — tried his damndest to keep the game tied with another on-target throw that Leury García barely beat with a slide around J.T. Realmuto, and then a diving catch on Eloy Jiménez’s sinking liner to end the inning. Give him a few more reps and he might actually look like he belongs out there.
Anyway, it should be pretty simple from here on out.

Clearly they should be putting Kelvin Herrera in right field upon his return.
the experiment begins. Kenny heard two way players means finding lineup spots for the sunk cost relief signings. From RF Herrera can get within 2 feet of the plate with late heat bring him up rick
The next Dayan Viciedo just waiting to be unleashed.
Good comp! signing in nippon for a billion yen is Herrera’s ceiling
We can use someone with D.V. stats
Right now that’s basically Jose Abreu.
It took a position player on the mound to do it, but that was TA’s first walk since May 23rd.
