TODAY: It’s Manny Baรฑuelos-Carlos Carrasco II as the Sox head into the only off day of the month.

ON THE FARM: Luis Robert hits his first Double-A homer, and Steele Walker his first at Winston-Salem.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: Shohei Ohtani takes Jose Berrios deep for his first homer since his Tommy John surgery, and the Royals call up a second baseman in the Kauffman mold.

I had read a review that Kubat might profile as a reliever, but the Sox have stuck with him as a starter thus far. Is there is chance he could develop into a Quintana or Buehrle command-oriented lefty starter?
