Going forward, I will think of this song when Bryce Bush comes up in conversation. Between Robert, Adolfo, and Hansen, the Sox have some major tools hindered by physical problems, and Madrigal offers an unusual skill set (perhaps also hindered by his wrist). It’s a fascinating group, and this dream is less fantastical than our hopes for top prospects Broadway, Poreda, Mitchell, Hawkins, et al.

Not with you on Bush, but I absolutely love the aggressive ranking for Basabe. I kinda wrote him off last year and he really showed both the tools and the ability to make adjustments as he advances. I hope we see him in Chicago by the end of the season.

Ted Mulvey

Ooh my second mystery box reference in as many days. I like it.

Sophist

I’ll take issue with Steele Walker in the Luis Gonzales lineage. From what I’m hearing, walker has a hit tool second only to Madrigal. Maybe it doesn’t pan, but he sounds like a special case.

I am with you on Bush, although that’s based solely on him being a prep pick who can actually hit, and when’s the last time the Sox had one of those? And count me in for hoping Madrigal can make BA sexy again. Maybe a Wade Boggs Lite. (And before anybody freaks out about me calling Madrigal a HOFer, look again at the “Lite” part of that description.)

Anybody know if Madrigal likes beer and chicken?

Do we even want him if he doesn’t?
