No. 1: JA Happ (2 years, $30m). I ‘m looking for 170 innings.

No. 2: Lance Lynn (1 year, $13m)

No. 3: David Robertson (2 years, $20m)

No. 4: Jesse Chavez (1 year, $6m)

No. 5: Drew Pomeranz (1 year, $9m)

No. 1: Trade Dylan Cease and Zack Collins to the Reds for Nick Senzel. Reds need pitching and have a 3B and 2B.

No. 4: Trade Dane Dunning to the Mets for Peter Alonso.

See what comes out of this group in 2019, as well as how your minor leaguers progress (most notably the ones coming back from injury: Robert, Burger, Burdi, Hansen), then put your money on the table.

Trading prospects for prospects? That’s rare. You proposed two of those.

Eagle Bones

Yeah I know these rarely happen, but the Senzel one in particular caught my eye. They really do need pitching and they seem enamored with Gennett for some reason (which leaves Senzel trying to find a spot in the outfield I guess). This would be tough to pull off, but I’d love to send pitching their way to bring him to Chicago. Absolutely love his skill set.

i love this plan. pushes the window/victory orifice/whatever you wanna call it back a bit but this is a fun roster
