Arizona Fall League recap: Oct. 29, 2018

If there’s one knock on Luis Robert thus far into his pro career, he hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

If there are two knocks on Robert, it’s that he hasn’t shown much in the way of game power. A lot of that has to do with Knock No. 1 — the thumb injury in particular — but it’s nevertheless a gap that has to be taken into account during ranking season.

Or he can just homer, like he did on Monday against Scottsdale. He’s now hiked his line up to .286/.324/.400, and even with the lack of slugging, he’s still the lone representative for the White Sox in the Fall Stars Game.

Scottsdale 7, Glendale 5

  • Luis Robert went 1-for-5 with his first homer.
  • Laz Rivera was 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
