Arizona Fall League recap: Oct. 26-27, 2018

The Glendale Desert Dogs are finally rolling

The 18-inning, 17-hour World Series game threw off my entire routine on Saturday, so I have to make up for lost days.

But hey, the Glendale Desert Dogs are doing the same thing, scoring runs in bunches and improving to 6-10 after losing the first eight games of the season.

Oct. 27: Glendale 9, Mesa 8 (11 innings)

  • Luis Robert went 2-for-6 with a strikeout.

Oct. 28: Glendale 7, Mesa 6

  • Laz Rivera went 1-for-5 with a strikeout.
  • Danny Dopico: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 K
