Arizona Fall League recap: Oct. 15, 2018

Bad news: Luis Robert is day-to-day after departing Friday’s game with hamstring tightness.

OK news: It’s supposedly just day-to-day.

Good news: The Bowman Hitting Challenge was rained out on Saturday and the league was off on Sunday, so Monday was the first action he’d actually missed.

Robert is ultimately no stranger to the false start, so he’s not likely to generate confidence until he actually plays a week without interruption. That didn’t happen on Monday, although it turns out that Laz Rivera was the only White Sox prospect to see action for the Glendale Desert Dogs, who are now 0-5.

Mesa 8, Glendale 0

  • Laz Rivera went 0-for-4.
