your comments on the “event” almost makes me wonder if thats the reason they havent called up eloy, since if called up we arent guaranteed an event next year without eloy as i wouldnt say its a given cease gets his call-up next year yet and if so it will be august/sept like kopech and robert/madrigal are still very far away.
seems they are trying to use this as a way to keep fans engaged while under a rebuild that is sometimes very hard to watch. is it a good reasoning? absolutely not but i could see how they could see it that way as a business standpoint to not lose ticket sales and keep fans morale up
