At what point does the concern about Hansen’s struggles manifest into something greater? I chalked up the first few poor outings as knocking off rust, but there hasn’t been much, if any, improvement in his pitching lines.

I’m wondering if maybe they should have put him in Winston-Salem rather than Birmingham considering he only had two AA starts on his resume prior to the injury. Although I doubt his control problems would have played well at either level.

Right Size Wrong Shape

Is it all command, or is his velocity down as well?

He missed half the season and has thrown 16.1 innings. I think you’re going to need to be a little more patient… If he still looks bad in a month, then we can probably start talking about it. Even then, his on field performance this year is basically a wash. Just get healthy enough for a full offseason and be ready to go next year. Pretty much the same plan for Dunning. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I think it’s clear at this point that Kiel should be the guy to replace Rondon.

Spare the residents of Arizona the heat wave – get Camilo and Hunter to Great Falls.
