  • Seby Zavala went 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts.
  • Jameson Fisher, 1-for-4 with a K.
  • Danny Dopico made his Double-A debut: 3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K
  • Ryan Burr: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K

Winston-Salem 4, Wilmington 2

  • Omar Vizquel flipped the batting order the day after they locked in the first-half title, so…
  • Ti’Quan Forbes went 0-for-3 with a walk, strikeout and stolen base.
  • Micker Adolfo was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. He was also picked off.
  • Blake Rutherford went 1-for-4 with a double.
  • Luis Alexander Basabe went 0-for-1 with two walks. He was also picked off.
  • Joel Booker doubled, singled and walked.

Greensboro 7, Kannapolis 1

  • Luis Gonzalez returned to the lineup as a DH, going 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.
  • Luis Robert was 1-for-3 with a walk, strikeout and stolen base.
  • Luis Curbelo went 0-for-4 and committed his eighth error.
  • Evan Skoug, 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Great Falls 6, Helena 5

  • Amado Nunez went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
  • Lenyn Sosa went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
  • Jhoandro Alfaro, 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
  • Romy Gonzalez was 1-for-2 with a triple and two walks.
  • Andrew Perez: 1.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
  • Bennett Sousa: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K

DSL Padres 6, DSL White Sox 1

  • Jose Rodriguez went 0-for-4, as did Jefferson Mendoza.
  • Jerrick Francees struck out all three times up.
  • Jairo Labourt, who has 6 games of MLB experience, made his Sox organization debut here and struggled: 0.1 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 1 HBP

Stephens is more deserving of a shot in the major league rotation than Fulmer is at this point.
