- Charlie Haeger pitched well in the season finale, striking out nine over seven innings, only allowing one earned run on a solo homer.
- Carlos Vazquez and David Aardsma pitched a perfect inning apiece.
- Earl Snyder's solo homer provided the Knights' only run; Alex Sanchez had a two-hit game once again.
- Birmingham 6, Huntsville 2
- Jack Egbert finished the season in fine fashion, allowing only one run on five hits over six innings. He struck out three and didn't walk anybody.
- Oneli Perez closed it out with a perfect inning, striking out two.
- Chris Getz went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer.
- Chris Kelly went 3-for-3, and Cory Aldridge went 2-for-4 with a double.

- Gary Bakker was stuck with the loss even though he only allowed one unearned run over seven innings. He struck out five, allowed five hits and walked one.
- Daron Roberts went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.
- Kannapolis 10, Augusta 4
- Sergio Miranda led the way with three hits and two RBI out of the leadoff spot. Archie Gilbert, Mike Grace, and John Anderson also had three-hit days.
- Grace drove in three runs, and Michael Rocco and Gilbert had two RBI as well.
- Michael Dubee allowed eight hits and two walks over five innings, but only three runs came in (two earned).
- Ryan Rote struck out four over the last two innings of Kanny's season.
