Yup, that's a 0.82 ERA in five starts, and he didn't allow an earned run in his last 22 of those innings.

At least we're not the only team that can't hit him.

I'm proud of Rogers and Verlander for grinding, really grinding against the Devil. Verlander's starts last night was the ballsiest outing I've seen from a rookie in a longtime.

One more, and then the Tigers can go on to lose to Oakland, and all will be well with the world!

I'm indifferent as to who wins, but I found myself pulling for Rogers tonight, and I don't even like him. It's always great to see a pitcher feeding off the crowd.

Yeah, I liked his enthusiasm, too.

Really, I don't think we can go wrong by showing the rest of baseball that the Central's the best. At the same time, I don't think baseball can go wrong with Oakland as its championship team. I know it isn't cool to like Billy Beane in Chicago, but I like him. He knows how to run an organization well -- it's that simple. Sure, they lose in the playoffs (though not so far this year!) but every team does. What they do with their small market payroll is awesome.

Yeah it is not bad for a pitcher that no one wanted including the Sox!!!! I hope That Oak
wins not for Billy Beane but for Frank Thomas
he really seems to enjoy the playoffs now (Playing instead of sitting) compared to last year!!!
