Okay, I lied. Here are some comments:
- Pods, the worst of the bunch, is receiving more at-bats than any other outfielder who's not Dye.
- When he does play, Pods gets more chances at the plate than everybody else in the lineup.
- Anderson has the fewest opportunities on the team batting ninth, and he's scored more August runs (11) than Pods (9).
- Mackowiak admits Anderson's far superior in center.
- Mackowiak has a superior arm in left in comparison to Podsednik.
- Anderson has a hit in 13 of his last 15 starts.
- Gload has at least a hit in 12 of his last 14 starts.
- Pods is in a 1-for-15 slump.
No matter how you slice it, Ozzie is f'ing this up, big-time.
